Most people searching for a GP app aren't looking for more technology. They want a quick, clear way to see a qualified doctor. Evening and weekend private GP appointments in Liverpool
A healthcare service is only accessible if you can use it when you need it. For a parent, that might mean a Saturday appointment. For someone working 9 to 5, it might mean an evening consultation from home. For a student in the city centre, it might mean a prompt assessment before a problem starts affecting their studies.
In-person clinics run throughout the day on Fridays and Saturdays.
Remote consultations are available Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 7pm.
We're open Monday to Saturday for enquiries.
Same-day appointments may be available depending on capacity.
In-person or remote GP appointments
Through the app you can choose an in-person or remote appointment, depending on your reason for booking and what is clinically appropriate.
A remote consultation is often a sensible starting point for medication queries or minor illnesses. A face-to-face appointment at our Duke Street practice is usually better when you need a physical examination, when symptoms are hard to describe remotely, or when you'd simply feel more reassured being seen in person.
When a private GP appointment can help
Private GP care isn't only for complicated or unusual problems. Many appointments are about everyday issues that still deserve timely attention, such as a persistent cough, recurring headaches, stomach symptoms, sleep problems, anxiety, a rash, a sore throat or a medication review.
It can also help when a concern has changed, lasted longer than expected, or is affecting your ability to work, study or care for others. A private appointment gives you time to explain the full picture: what you've already tried, what makes things better or worse, and any relevant medical history.
If tests or scans are needed, having imaging available on the same site can reduce delays in planning your next step. A responsible doctor will always start with a consultation and examination, and recommend investigations only where they will genuinely help answer a clinical question.
Private care works best alongside your wider healthcare. If you have an NHS GP, ongoing treatment or regular prescriptions, bring those details to your appointment so your doctor has the full picture.
How to get the most from your appointment
A little preparation makes a consultation more focused. Before booking, think about the main reason you need help and whether the problem is new, ongoing or getting worse. If you've taken home readings, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse or blood sugar, note them down with the dates.
For a remote appointment, choose a private, well-lit space with a reliable connection. Keep your medication nearby, including anything bought over the counter, and have your pharmacy details to hand.
During the consultation, be open about what's worrying you. Doctors are used to discussing sensitive topics, including mental health and sexual health, and the more accurate the information, the better tailored the advice. It's reasonable to ask practical questions too: the likely diagnosis, what to do if things change, whether you need medication, when to expect improvement and whether you need a follow-up. You should leave with a clear plan.
